Is there an external way to upgrade my laptop's video card?

HP DV5000. Currently 32MB video card.|||NO laptops have a Graphics Processing Chip or G.P.U. embedded on the motherboard they can not be changed! now most laptops are set up to assign a certain % of the total RAM to the GPU. My Acer Aspire 3100 laptop came with 512Mb of ram and the Radeon xpress1100 gpu had 64Mb of memory I added another 512Mb of ram and now my video memory is 128Mb get the picture?
