Is it possible to upgrade a laptop's video card?

I've been getting mixed answers on this subject, any help would be greatly appreciated.|||As far as I know you can upgrade the processor and the ram but I haven't heard of anyone upgrading the video card on a laptop. This would be especially true if it has integrated video.|||normally no but you can get a more powerful graphic by upgrading your laptop motherboard.. pretty much costly and i am pretty sure it wont tripling its old graphic performance... because it a laptop... but recently there are portable graphic card but it is only compatible with specific laptop only|||No, it's not really possible at all. There are some high-end laptops whose video cards are upgradable, but the vast majority of laptops are not upgradable at all.|||you can update the drivers but not the video chip it is built into the motherboard
