okay so, ive just bought crysis 2 on pc. its a very memory hungry game, i need a 512 mb graphics card to play it without any lagging, everything else, i have. i want to know, what software that i can download to help my graphics card function so that when i play the game, it is at least a lot smoother. just for the short term until i buy a new graphics card|||no you dont need a 512mb card. you need an ati 3850 equivalent or better.

Video memory has little to do with performance. like you could get a 5450 that has 1gb. But the 5450 is a VERY low end card. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.ph…

Anyway, to you question, no. There is no such software that can magically make you run games lol. Its all based on your hardware.
Id recommend these cards if you want to play games: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcom… (and as the price shows is about the settings you can play on. 5670 will play on low-med, 6670 should be a solid med, 5770 is high settings, 6850 would be max or close to max)|||just update your drivers.
