if it does work will i need to upgrade an power supply or will it work right out of the box like plug and play?|||That ATI x1950GT consumes more than 50 watts mainly from the +12V rail. Your 9800 Pro consumes about 47 watts. If it is currently running stable, your power supply might be able to power the X1950GT also. BUT you might run your power supply's +12V rail HOT at full load.

Consider upgrading to a higher rated power supply. It should run cooler, last longer and give you elbow room for upgrades.|||I would say so but you don't have enough specs listed to truly say|||You should use AGP most computerss have AGP and the one your looking uses AGP.
