Changing a computer's video card?

Ello everyone, recently just bought the Aspire X1 AX1420G-U5832 and want to replace the video card. Problem is the tower is tiny, and the power supply is only 220 W. Not sure where to go with this. If someone could recommend a video card that would work, much appreciated.

Although, of course, you're still going to have to upgrade your power supply to something closer to 400W to use it. If you know how to do that or can learn and are willing to pay a good $100, the upgrade *might* be worth it, but still won't be very comparable to what a full-sized tower can do.

..and I'm pretty sure this power supply fits the bill: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

Normal ATX power supplies won't fit, but comparing the width of your case to various power supplies I'm pretty sure it's a MicroATX form-factor case, but don't quote me on that.|||HAHAHAHA That video card is a POS I bet that thing burns up in less than 2 years. Low end GPU and slow RAM. No warranty. Good luck you will need it.

|||That computer will not be upgradeable by 99% of cards. The cards alone draw 320w in some cases. You wont be able to pull off anything under 650w with a decent build. Its wasting your money to try and get a low wattage high memory card as the GPU will be garbage or laptop converted, at best, either way you are wasting money. Basically if I was you I would buy a new tower, and transfer what you can salvage into it and rebuild from there :( Sorry to break it to you but that is the only reasonable way to go.|||Get a power supply and video card from NewEgg. Make sure your motherboard has a pciexpress slot.

Also, they make video cards and power supplies specifically for smaller cases. If you are unsure, call them and they can help you shop.|||Already look for someone earlier this week for a acer similar to yours the psu the design is different

and only can find a replacement for it in those type of acer towers, good luck on finding one that will fit|||The first thing to do is find a power supply that will fit it. That little 220 ain't gonna handle a decent card.
